CVA Certification Lifecycle

The CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) Certification Lifecycle is a professional process designed to develop and maintain expertise in business valuation. It starts with meeting the required qualifications, applying for the designation, and completing NACVA training or studying the Business Valuation Body of Knowledge (BVBOK). Candidates must then pass the CVA proctored examination and fulfill the experience requirement through a peer-reviewed business valuation report. After earning the certification, professionals are required to maintain active membership or pay renewal fees annually. They must also complete tri-annual recertification requirements to ensure continued professional competency and industry compliance.
